Selling Cookies
When I was in campfire I looked forward to selling candy in the same way you might look forward to a root canal. I hated it–talking to strangers has never been a strong suit. So I figured my agoraphobia would have passed to the next generation. I brought up the subject with AJ in the spirit of "you don't have to do this horrible thing if you don't want to... I won't make you," etc. To my utter surprise she was not only willing, but excited. She did a great job, and sold 44 boxes over 2 days. I will never cease to be amazed by my kids.
